Curtis

Curtis was not doing well in school, so we enlisted the services of a tutor. He was in the 5th grade and had a reading level of about 1st grade. After working with him the tutor suggested that we bring him to Dr. Harris for evaluation. At this point in time, his self-esteem suffered a great deal. Though he was highly motivated to read, his frustration level was quite high.

When he came to vision therapy, we found out that his eyes “were going all over the place” and not tracking properly. It was no wonder he could not read. The nice part about the therapy sessions is the fact that the activities are fun and not a laborious chore. He has done extremely well, and brought up his reading level several grades. Needless to say, he feels much better about himself, and very proud of his accomplishments.
